I analysed the front cover of rock and pop magazines are research for my front cover.

Research and Planning: MUSIC COLLAGE

To help me with planning to create my music magazine, I created this collage. I had to wait a while to get a copy of Billboard Magazine from my local newsagents because it had to be ordered in.

 

The purpose of this exercise was to aid me in creating my magazine. I looked at the typical artists associated with my genre and see what colours. There are colours of red, blue and yellow used throughout the magazine and some stars include Jesse Glynne, Meghan Trainor, Rihanna and John Legend.

 

I also added some features to my collage such as a drop capital, a barcode, an issue number, price and barcode and a pull quote.

I looked at different shot types which I could use for the front cover of my

Music magazine. We also did this as part of the TV drama exam unit.
